Hidden EP Vinyl design

The Brief
I was commissioned to create a vinyl cover for an electronic artist called Silent Seas. The project involved developing a design that would capture the essence of the EP’s title while standing out visually in the competitive music market.

The Creative Solution
Inspired by the name Silent Seas, I researched World War II dazzle ships — vessels painted with bold, geometric patterns designed to confuse enemy submarines. These striking, contemporary patterns became the foundation for the cover design, offering a visually dynamic and conceptually rich solution that connected to the idea of concealment and movement on the ocean.

The final vinyl cover successfully reflected the EP’s themes while delivering a modern and memorable aesthetic. This project also led to a broader opportunity to rebrand the record label itself, with the updated identity featured on my website.
