The Brief
Playmob is a startup that connects companies and charities with the socially conscious gaming community, enabling people to donate to good causes while they play. The brief was to create a community-driven brand that resonates with the gamer in all of us. My role was to design the logo and develop a suite of illustrations to support various brand touchpoints.
The Creative Solution
I developed a range of socially diverse illustrations drawn in a relaxed, approachable style to reflect the community spirit of Playmob. The illustrations were kept in greyscale to align with the organisation’s existing colour scheme, ensuring brand cohesion. Complementing this, I created a simple, hand-drawn logo that conveys an authentic, grassroots feel — positioning Playmob as a community-focused project rather than a large tech corporation.
This branding approach has been very successful and remains central to Playmob’s identity, with some updates made over time.
